How the match works
Each result carries its crosswalk relationship: exact, split, partial, related, chained, or no match. A split returns every available destination candidate; partial and related results need closer review.
US-to-Canada comparisons use the shared NAICS structure plus Canadian detail, while revision, ISIC, NACE, and HS conversions use the supplied official concordances or clearly labeled chains.
Official classifications used
- U.S. Census Bureau — NAICS 2017 and 2022, plus the 2022 export concordance
- Statistics Canada — NAICS Canada 2022 Version 1.0 and its ISIC correspondence
- United Nations Statistics Division — ISIC Rev. 4 and ISIC–NACE correspondence
- Eurostat — NACE Rev. 2
- World Customs Organization — HS 2022 nomenclature
Scope: English titles and the directions listed in the selector. API access is offered separately in private beta.
